Rakesh Doshetty, M.D.
Dr. Rakesh Doshetty is an interventional cardiologist with expertise in minimally invasive treatment of coronary and peripheral vascular disease. His clinical practice includes coronary angiography and intervention, peripheral angiography and intervention and thrombectomy for pulmonary embolism (PE) and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
Dr. Doshetty grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago before attending Texas A&M University for his undergraduate studies. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago and additional fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Doshetty enjoys playing golf and basketball, cycling on his Peloton and experiencing live music across genres and festivals. A lifelong Chicago sports fan, he proudly supports the Bulls and Bears. One of his personal goals is to visit all seven continents.
